Erica Timothy is an emerging talent in contemporary ceramics with her work increasingly sought after by serious collectors and galleries. Erica’s ceramics are intuitive, sculptural and organic with a narrative and natural beauty. Her work displays a strong inspiration from nature: from the round bottomed vessels of West Africa to the extravagant horns of antelopes, cattle and sheep.

Erica is a qualified practicing landscape architect who has recently begun to devote more time time to her pots which have for so long been admired and coveted by all who viewed them. The demand for her pots led her to establish a new studio in Bath where her unique pieces are hand crafted. Erica enhances the craft of ceramics, challenging its second-class status within the world of fine arts, to explore witty and thought provoking themes that resonate.
